The purpose of this organization shall be to stimulate further interest in continuing education while promoting Filipino cultural awareness, community service, and empowerment. This shall be accomplished in the following ways:
1) To be of service to the College of the Desert and the community. 2) To encourage students, Filipino and Non-Filipino, to desire and to continue higher education. (i.e. College of the Desert and local high school students) 3) To provide information about educational opportunities. 4) To promote interest and encourage student participation in school activities. 5) To provide financial aid through a scholarship program by means of fund raising, member’s donations, etc. 6) To offer tutorial assistance to all members and College of the Desert students in general 7) To assist students in becoming future leaders in the community.
